Christ Lutheran Church - Aptos CA

Pastor's Page

Christ Lutheran Church is a special place – a special group of people.

We are deeply interested in nurturing spiritual growth in people who are a part of this faith community. It happens in small group settings, in service, in reading groups, in worship, and in our interaction with one another.

We are also highly committed to serving our community. Our latest project, the Aptos Community Garden, provides 80 garden plots to people in our area who otherwise would not be able to grow their own fresh and organic food.Knitting for Neighbors provides lovingly knitted items for small children and for local homeless shelters. Both these efforts have received national attention. There are also one-time efforts: shoes for children in Afghanistan, hygiene kits for those who are homeless, support for a school in El Salvador.

We also care for one another.Special care is given to those among us who are facing illness, bereavement, and other challenges in life.We have fun together at fellowship events.  And our gathering time after worship is famous for its quality and opportunity to connect with those who are with us for the first time, and with long-time friends. I hope you feel welcome to come and share with us!
