Who is John Allured?
After practicing investment fraud litigation and other complex securities regulatory law for nearly 30 years, John Allured has taken on a new path of legal practice and study. Inspired by
his Christian faith, where serving those that are in need is a major principle, he’s taken on the task of mastering immigration law and advocating for migrant families that are facing legal challenges. As our nation is facing ever-increasing controversies in immigration reform, the need to better understand migrant rights, challenges and processes for asylum is more significant than ever. John graduated with honors from Stanford University and holds a Juris Doctor from Hastings College of Law. He’s an active member of First Lutheran Church of Palo Alto and is passionate about helping migrants face and overcome legal challenges.
